The Ulster County Historical Society uses the educational experience of its working museum and farm to engage diverse audiences in the rich history and culture of the County.

The UCHS fulfills their mission by:

  1. Collecting, cataloging, and preserving artifacts that make visual and tangible connections to the history of Ulster County and the diversity of its culture
  2. Creating permanent and rotating exhibits, programs, and publications to stimulate interest in the history of Ulster County
  3. Developing program partnerships with other historical, educational, and government groups to promote community involvement with the history of Ulster County
  4. Administering the Bevier House property and building to meet the educational and interpretive goals of the society.
