Look for new History Hunts throughout the year.
How to Participate:
- HISTORICAL CEMETERY HUNT (October – November): Find the gravesites of historical people. Explore cemereries and learn about the people who lived here.

- MAP HUNT (August – September): Use the map to find historical buildings and locations. Once you find them, snap a photo, with or without you in the picture, and post it on Instagram with the hashtag #hvhistoryhunt. Get creative! Take a selfie, dress like an explorer, make it fun!

- Q & A HUNT (August – September) : Answer a series of questions. Go to the website mentioned in a clue, watch a short video, or search the internet!

- Complete 5 map clues and receive a History Alliance Certificate of Excellent Detection and 1 raffle entry
- Complete the 5 question Q&A and receive a History Alliance Certificate of Excellent Detection and 1 raffle entry
- Complete both the 5 map clues and 5 Q&A questions and receive a History Alliance Certificate of Excellent Detection and 2 raffle entries

The first hunt ran from August 15th to September 30th, 2020. The second hunt took place from October 1st to November 15th, 2020.
You can still do the hunt, and win a certificate, but winners will not be entered into the raffle.
